Spend a week with me, and you’ll likely see me go through 2-3 extra large containers of nonfat plain greek yogurt. It’s a staple in my life to make sure I get over 100 grams of protein per day (which is always my goal for muscle building and satiety!)
However, 90% of Greek yogurt snacks contain sugar-free pudding mix! You can make a delicious dessert by mixing one tablespoon of sugar-free pudding mix in 1/3 to 1 cup of greek Yogurt.

But, I have to confess, I would not have thought to add candy canes to my greek yogurt before this week. I was scrolling social media when I saw an ad for Wendy’s Peppermint Frosty. I instantly decided to make my own peppermint frosty protein powder.
However, I had a fresh container Greek yogurt and some cheesecake sugar-free pudding mix so I decided to make a peppermint yoghurt bowl instead.
It’s so delicious! As far as adding a crushed up candy cane into the yogurt, candy cane’s are actually pretty low in calories. I found 40 calories in the candy cane. I didn’t see any sugar free candy canes at my grocery store, but I did notice some Amazon sells sugar-free candy canes that are too expensiveThey were also higher in calories. Crazy. Don’t waste your money on sugar free candy canes.
I also tried to add peppermint extract. It tasted too bitter. “extracty”. So, you can try it, but I didn’t like it.
